So, it's a bit goofy, but I'm quite excited that our nursery was featured on Spearmint Baby's blog. I love her blog and got a lot of inspiration from it over the last several months, so yay! :)

NURSERY REVEAL!

So...it's done. Actually, it's been done for a week now, but today is the day I finally got my act together to upload the pics. I really must get better about that.

Anyway, behold Xander's room. It was put together with so much thought and love and patience by both me and Mike. And I LOVE it! It is such a relaxing room to just spend time in (glider is so comfy), and I know he's going to make great use of the calming nature during bedtime and the fun animals, book bin, toys, etc during playtime. I can't wait to share it with him.

Diagnol view as you walk in the room...crib is Karisma by Romina, wall color is Mystique by Behr, wall stencils by Rosenberry Rooms and painted by me, glider and ottoman in navy and sky microsuede from Little Castle, giraffe is by Melissa & David.

Door to room is on way left and the visible door is the small closet. Wall shelf and bench from Land of Nod, sky blue custom microsuede bench cushion, red canvas bins from Land of Nod.

Entrance is to the right of the changing table...dresser is Karisma by Romina, picture is from Rosenberry Rooms. Red Birdies are vinyl decals from an Etsy dealer.

Hamper is by Home Decorators Collection. Big closet is to the left of the changing table. World map is the most awesome canvas ever and says "Xander's World"



Hard to tell but this faux brown, crocodile embossed leather bedside table is the perfect accent to the room -- Home Decorators Collection. Lamp is Target.

Book bin by Land of Nod. Bought in espresso but it didn't match the furniture, so Mike painted it and the wall shelf the perfect shade of navy blue!



Bedding is "Charlie" by Serena & Lily.

Xander's World

The pic for above Xander's changing table arrived yesterday. It's a canvas reproduction and is so awesome. The colors are perfect!Now just to get Mike to hang it up for me...




I can't wait to start traveling with this lil' guy and show him the world. I have so many places I can't wait to go with him. In fact, I've already been trying to figure out where our first non-domestic family vacation will be and when...next Summer? Anyway, so much to daydream about, and this map just helps with that process!

Xander's Nursery

Well, after a hectic, cluttered 2 weeks, the contractors are ALMOST done with the house and are done with Xander's room. The timing was a bit of a disaster because his furniture came early and was delivered on Thursday. Despite knowing for 1 week the deadline of Wed. night, the guys didn't finish the room until Friday. So while they were able to set up the crib in the middle of the room, we had to "store" his dresser and the glider in our room until yesterday. Mike and I spent yesterday moving things into the room and organizing the items we already have...I think I'm loving it. ;)
